IMPERFECTLY PERFECT
“The Most Important Part
Of Every Plan Is Planning On Your Plan, Not Executing It Perfectly”
To achieve something noticeable you’ll need plan not one, but many.
History is littered with good and great ideas taken so far, which are
indistinguishable from bad ideas. The wisdom is having room for error in your
plan about anything, acknowledging principles of uncertainty, randomness and
unknown chances present in every part of life.
The only way to deal with them is by increasing the gap between what you
think and what will happen and also about what can happen, leaving you capable
of fighting another sunrise.
“THE PURPOSE OF THE MARGIN OF SAFETY IS TO RENDER THE FORECAST
UNNECESSARY”
Margin for safety is what I call as ‘ROOM FOR ERROR’ and it is the only
effective way to safely navigate depths world governed by odd and
uncertainties, therefore I say It’s hard
to overstate how much power lies in one simple statement.
Sadly people underestimate the need for room for error in almost
everything they do.
Rather concept of Room for error is underappreciated and misunderstood,
It’s often viewed as conservative hedge, and used by those who are unwilling
for risks or aren’t confident about their own views. Its quiet opposite when
used adequately.
Room for errors let you endure a range of potential outcomes and for the same biggest gain occur infrequently. So the person with enough room for error in part of strategy to let endure hardship in another has an edge over a person who gets wiped of drizzling rain drops.
BILL GATES got this concept well, as when Microsoft was young, he said
“I want to have enough money in bank to pay year worth of payroll even, if
payments aren’t coming in”....................
